USGBC Students recruits, connects and equips the next generation of green building leaders by empowering them to transform their campuses, communities and careers.

U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) at Manoa Student Group provides a way for young leaders to come together and participate in hands-on green building experiences on campus through service initiatives. USGBC helps students integrate sustainability themes into their coursework and advocate for sustainable university practices and policies. Join us to find out more!

We are fortunate to present a scholarship fund provided by the Hawaii USGBC chapter. The focus is sustainable design, research and advocacy. Between $2,500 and $500 awards have been made available to undergraduate and graduate students during the 2011-2012 school year, and the due date is August 31, 2011! So apply now!

The UH Environmental Center, in collaboration with the UH USGBC Student Group and Manoa Sustainability Corps, present Sustainability at UH. This workshop will provide new students with the knowledge and tools to assist in the universities commitment to a sustainable future. Light refreshments will be served.
